Event registration firm njuko and Forum Productions are embarking on a registration partnership for the third edition of the Dead Sea Marathon, which takes place in Israel on February 5, 2021.
The third edition of the event offers up a one-time running experience at the lowest place in the world, crossing the sea on flat dirt embankments in the desert. The route features a desert landscape with five distances – 50km, 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km and 5km – to cater for all levels of running experience.
‘This year the marathon is introducing a new registration system. It is a collaboration built around tens of hours of Zoom during the lockdown period together with the French company njuko – the largest endurance registration platform in Europe that handles hundreds of thousands of participants each year.’
Event clients of njuko include: the marathons of Muscat, Milan, Salzburg, Vienna, Frankfurt and hundreds of other events.
Upon the opening registration for this year’s Dead Sea Marathon, the organising team are also launching an international virtual running challenge in collaboration with njuko. Those who complete the virtual race and upload a GPS file with proof of the challenge will receive an official certificate and a virtual medal.

The Dead Sea Marathon is professionally recognized with the standards mark from the World Long Distance Running Association (AIMS) and the Israeli Athletics Association.
