Essex, UK-based obstacle event organiser Nuclear Races has officially launched its portfolio of 2021 obstacle course racing events, whilst also renewing a technology partnership with njuko.com.
Originally launched in 2011, Nuclear Races brings around 20,000 competitors to the Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker, in Brentwood, Essex, each year. Entrants compete in a series of events such as Blast, Fallout, Rush, Oblivion and Blackout as well as the Rookie obstacle courses for children.
Reguarlly voted the UK’s Best OCR, Best All Round Event and Best Obstacle Course for Beginners at the Mudstacle & Running Awards out, Nuclear has maintained its momentum in delivering OCR events in the UK. While, the 2020 season has been impacted by the Covid-19 outbreak, the race organiser is looking forward to next year.
Race Director James Parrish from Nuclear said “We’re excited to be looking forward to a more normal obstacle racing season in 2021 especially in our 10th anniversary year.”
The organiser is continuing to utilise registration technology through njuko. which… ‘handles large volumes of entries, complex team set ups, no quibble refund insurance, facial recognition – automatic photo matching and on the day dynamic chip allocation via the njuko RBC app.’
Matt Trevett, njuko’s UK & Ireland Account Manager, said “We are delighted to return the loyalty shown by Nuclear Races and support them in the next challenge they face as a business returning to action in 2021.
“As a registration company we are far from not getting our hands dirty! We love attending the events and getting stuck in, whether that is at the check in desk or getting up at 5am to plan the da.y”
