Organised by the Eurobike trade show team, the 2020 Eurobike Award is ‘going to be awarded according to the same procedure and criteria as every year.’
Maintaining the awards procedure, in 2020, the organisers of Eurobike have been forced to adapt the award process in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This year, the timing of the award process has been adapted to take account of the later start to the season and the postponing of Eurobike to November 2020. The closing date for registration remains as 9 July.
Following a digital pre-selection round with 12 judges, the final judges panel with six industry experts will be held on 5-6 August.
The Eurobike trade show, rescheduled for November 24-26, will be a pure B2B event. As a result, the show organisers add that award winners can expect to reap the benefits on the same scale as in previous years.
‘This means generating interest and winning potential business partners and retailers to new ideas and solutions. The award winners will be announced digitally on September 2, 2020 at a prize-giving ceremony following the start-up pitch event.’
“The Eurobike Award has become an important feature that neither trade show visitors nor its many participants want to do without,” explained Eurobike project manager Dirk Heidrich. “This is due to the unique recognition it creates for all who enter.
“We are delighted to have been able to offer the Eurobike Award for two years now as a tool for start-ups to help these innovative companies present their exciting ideas in a convincing manner. Ultimately, the resulting creative solutions cross-fertilise the entire industry.”
