The discussion with Will Golder, Director at RaceNation, explored a range of areas – with a focus on the company’s investments in the UK mass participation events space.
Will Golder was appointed as a Board Director at RaceNation in July 2018. He heads up the business and the management & development of its technologies. Will retired from being a full time athlete with Great Britain Bobsleigh in January 2015. He talked through how he came to bobsleigh, and his introduction to RaceNation.
RaceNation provides event registration, club membership management and fundraising on a single customisable online platform. The sports technology company has reported significant growth whilst constantly adding new features to its product offering.
A recent development has been an investment in the event space, with the formation of RaceNation Events. Will notes that this is about supporting viable endurance sport events – and helping them to return in 2021, when this may not have been possible due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
