Taking in place in Trentino, Italy, on September 8-12, the European Cycling Championships 2021 has a number of elite riders on the start line. These include: Tadej Pogačar, Filippo Ganna, Peter Sagan, Remco Evenepoel and Annemiek Van Vleuten.
The event is organised by the Union Européenne de Cyclisme (UEC), which is one of the five continental confederations that are members of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).
Founded in Zurich in 1990 by representatives of 18 countries, the UEC brings together the national federations of 48 countries across the Europe region. Each year the UEC awards the European Champion titles in road, mountain bike, track, BMX, cyclo-cross and indoor cycling.
Italian apparel brand ALÉ is an official partner of the UEC – with the partnership recently renewed through to 2024.
The Italian brand will outfit all European champions at this year’s championships with its jerseys. The jerseys designed by ALÉ for the UEC are part of its PR-S collection.
Specifically designed for use in competitions, this line of cycling garments was developed thanks to feedback from a number of pro ridres, including the World Tour teams of which ALÉ is a partner: Bahrain Victorious, Movistar Team, Groupama FDJ and the women’s Alé BTC Ljubljana.
