Alé has signed a partnership agreement with RCS Sport, organiser of the UAE Tour together with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and the Dubai Sports Council.
The Verona-based brand of cycling clothing will supply the leader jerseys of the prestigious stage race in the United Arab Emirates. The cycling event, which will take place from February, 21-27, 2021, is seen as the first major opening of the WorldTour professional calendar.
Alé will provide the UAE Tour with its textile engineering. The company adds that the jerseys for the UAE Tour are part of its PR-R collection that the brand dedicates to teams and professional cyclists.
All official race jerseys will be provided by Italian brand, Alé. Sponsored by ADNOC, the red jersey, for general classification, will be worn daily, starting from Stage 2, by the leader of the general classification by time.
The green jersey for the sprinters is sponsored by Etisalat. The young rider classification will be marked by the white jersey, sponsored by Nakheel. The black jersey, sponsored by Abu Dhabi Aviation, is for the intermediate sprint classification. It will be worn by the rider who has gained more intermediate sprint points than any other rider.
