Elastic Interface Palm Technology in new DHB Aeron Mitts

Elastic Interface and Wiggle’s DHB brand have been partners for a number of years. The British brand’s collaboration with Elastic Interface now extends from shorts to gloves. Continuing their collaboration, the new DHB’s Aeron Mitts utilise EIT Palm technology to offer ‘maximum comfort, safe and effective grip and ergonomics.’

EIT Palm Technology by Elastic Interface features a three-dimensional, seamless and elastic palm designed for cycling gloves. According to the company, ‘it respects the anatomy of the hand, improves blood flow and relieves pressure on the ulnar nerve.’

The three-dimensional design was developed based on anthropometric parameters and with the support of the University of Padua (Department of Biomedical Sciences).

Launched in September 2019, Elastic Interface Palm Technology claims to be revolutionising the world of cycling gloves.

DHB chose the Slim version for its Aeron Mitts. Developed by Elastic Interface for road or off-road use, the Slim Palm offers single density padding, with strategically placed perforations to provide breathability and comfort. Its anatomical shape improves blood circulation in the hand and relieves pressure on the ulnar nerve.

For summer cycling, the new Aeron Mitts have an elastic upper fabric, which ensures fit and removes the need for a traditional closure system. Featuring refined details such as pull tabs on the wrist and between the middle fingers as well as a nose wipe area, the new gloves are available to purchase from dhbsport.com and wiggle.co.uk.
