Fast Talk Laboratories, a new sport science community and virtual performance centre, has partnered with INSCYD, the remote, protocol-based physiological testing technology.
Fast Talk Laboratories now offers INSCYD testing and analysis services for athletes as well as education and support for INSCYD and federation-certified coaches.
‘INSCYD is a fitness test that athletes can do anywhere in the world, indoors or outside, with a power meter or GPS-enabled sport watch. With this test, cyclists, triathletes, and runners can get lab-grade physiological test results wherever they are, without going to a lab.’
Athletes can schedule their test, perform the test when it’s convenient for them, and send in their workout data file for analysis and interpretation by INSCYD coaches and exercise physiologists.
As part of the new partnership, Fast Talk Labs has released new public and member-exclusive content devoted to the understanding and use of INSCYD’s testing protocol:
Fast Talk Episode 159: INSCYD and the Power of Testing Analysis, with Sebastian Weber – a podcast episode dedicated to a variety of testing protocols, the data that different tests provide, and the performance analysis athletes and coaches can perform with testing data;
Everything You Need to Know About the INSCYD Test – a webinar that explores the test protocol and shows how coaches and exercise physiologists interpret INSCYD test results; and
A new Coaching Forum exclusively for INSCYD and federation-certified coaches to discuss their use of INSCYD and related testing.
“I’ve tested athletes in a lab for years, and it is refreshing to see a protocol that allows me to get actionable lab-grade data remotely,” said Fast Talk Labs Head Coach and Physiologist Ryan Kohler.
“INSCYD improves my ability to provide coaching guidance to athletes all over the world and know that we’re looking at the same data from a validated protocol.”
INSCYD test results reveal details about an athlete’s current fitness, physiological profile, and insights into how they can maximize their training.
“We are extremely excited to be partnering with Fast Talk Labs to offer INSCYD testing,” said Sebastian Weber, Project Lead at INSCYD. “Both our organizations share a similar devotion to the science behind athletic performance.
“The variety of services Fast Talk Labs is now offering is exciting. We feel it is a great opportunity for both companies and we look forward to their help in supporting all INSCYD coaches.”
