As the countdown to this year’s Giro d’Italia hits one month to go, the race’s stage cities are lighting up their landmarks, monuments, streets and piazzas in pink to celebrate the Corsa Rosa.
The initiative has been created in partnership with Enel, the official sponsor of the Maglia Rosa for the 104th Giro d’Italia.
Organized by RCS Sport, this year’s Giro will start in Turin on May 8, and finish in Milan on May 30. Turin and the Piemonte region are set to host the Grande Partenza for the first time in 10 years, on the occasion of the 160th anniversary of the unification of Italy.
