Return of UK’s three-day running festival, RunFestRun

UK running festival RunFestRun is scheduled to make its return on 20-22 May 2022 in the grounds of historic Englefield House, near Reading, Berkshire.

The three-day running festival is billed as… ‘a unique event that combines family fun with activities for friends, couples and solo festival-goers alike, RunFestRun finds the perfect balance between active fun and a host of entertainment – from delicious street food and bars, workshops, talks and workouts, to a dedicated shopping village.’

Englefield House and its grounds are situated within Berkshire countryside and feature a landscape, backdrop, woodlands and lake so runners will be guaranteed views as they run through the parkland, both on and off-road.

Runners can enter up to nine events across the weekend, from the ‘Sunset Shuffle’ to RunFestRun’s half marathon. Olympians Paula Radcliffe, Steve Cram CBE and Colin Jackson will be returning for a third year as team captains for the three day event.

According to the organising team… ‘The festival offers something for every level of runner, with events such as Paula Radcliffe’s ‘Families on Track’ relay event for future stars, mini movers and parents; plus chipped and timed competitive races of varying distances – from 2.5k, 5k and 10k to half marathon.’

Single or solo runners are catered for via the Solo Runners Club, with a dedicated camp site and ice breaker games aiming to ensure the festival is inclusive and welcoming to all.

In addition to the host of runs on offer, participants can learn from experts about nutrition, endurance and training; and get tips and tricks for mental wellbeing with guided yoga and meditation classes.

At RunFestRun there are evening performances from live music acts and DJs as well as freshly prepared street food and options to sip on artisan beer, cocktail or smoothies.

Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 1st December at 08:00 GMT, with day, weekend, and camping tickets available.
