As part of this year’s Santos Tour Down Under, the bike festival’s organising team has unveiled an accompanying Tour Down Under Challenge on Strava.
The aim is to foster community and build awareness of the event, as it has had to adjust to Covid-19 and travel restrictions. The Santos Tour Down Under has announced a ‘new and reimagined event’ for 2021 in South Australia – with the Santos Festival of Cycling taking place from 19-24 January.
The Tour Down Under team issued a short statement about the TDU 200 Strava Challenge…
‘While we can’t all be in Adelaide for the Santos Festival of Cycling, let’s band together using the power of social media to keep the cycling community humming!
‘No matter where in the world you are, you can join in on the action, with the TDU 200 Strava Challenge.
‘You’ll have one week from 17 – 24 January to cover 200km of ground, while the pros do battle over four stages across regional South Australia.’
