Tough Mudder has joined forces with Marvel for 2021 in the creation of the Tough Mudder Challenges: Marvel Series. This brand collaboration will offer a collection of six digital fitness adventures designed to ‘test strength, agility, and stamina while overcoming fears, building mental toughness, and uncovering leadership skills…
‘Through this connected community and engaging platform, participants will discover and unleash their Super Hero within.’
The Tough Mudder Challenges: Marvel Series will offer a platform for individual tracking and an opportunity for individuals to conquer their fitness goals.
The first challenge in the 2021 series, kicking off early this month, will feature Marvel’s The Avengers characters. Participants can expect physical, mental and skill-based activities all tracked in a bespoke digital platform that also supports encouragement from a community of engaged participants from around the world.
“The Marvel and Tough Mudder communities are a natural fit,” said Kyle McLaughlin, global CEO of Tough Mudder. “The 2020 launch of Tough Mudder Challenges: Marvel Edition brought thousands of new Marvel and Tough Mudder fans to a cutting-edge digital fitness experience, and we’re excited to build on that for 2021.”
Dan Buckley, President, Marvel Entertainment, said “When faced with challenges, Marvel heroes work together to accomplish the impossible, and in 2020 we were thrilled to see athletes take inspiration from their favourite heroes and find their power to complete the Tough Mudder Challenges: Marvel Edition.
“In 2021 we look forward to seeing everyone conquer their fitness goals again with all new Marvel experiences.”
Participants earn a Tough Mudder: Marvel Series commemorative coin upon successful completion of each challenge, to collect all six coins throughout the 2021 series.
