Zwifters this week have been able to experience the exclusive in-game launch of Saucony’s latest shoe – the Endorphin Pro 2 – as Zwift and Saucony kicked off the Saucony Endorphin Series on June 22.
Featuring group runs, workouts, and races alongside Saucony ambassadors and athletes, this series will promote the new run shoe and aims to highlight Saucony’s dedication to helping athletes.
Throughout the series, each week’s event offers a unique challenge on Zwift followed by a special unlock. When a Zwifter completes any event they will automatically be entered to win 1 of 10 Saucony bundles, including a pair of the new Endorphin Pro 2 shoes, Stopwatch jersey, and Outpace cap.
Week 1: community run
Saucony athletes, mountain runner Grayson Murphy and triathlete Sarah Piampiano, will be on-hand for in-game group runs in France. When finishing any of these events, Zwifters unlock the in-game Saucony run shirt.
Week 2: Saucony session
Heading to Watopia, in-game 30-minute group workouts are led and created by Saucony athletes: American record holder, 28x National Champion and long-distance runner Molly Huddle, one of the UK’s most decorated distance runners, Jo Pavey, and former professional distance runner and high-performance marathon coach James Thie. All participants unlock the in-game Saucony hat.
Week 3: races
Zwifters can run alongside Saucony athletes Parker Stinson and Malindi Elmore in 5km, 8km, and 10km in-game social races in Paris on the Champs-Élysées route. When completing any of these events, runners will unlock the exclusive in-game Saucony Endorphin Pro 2.0 shoes and complete the Saucony virtual kit.
