The USA Triathlon Foundation has a handful of race registrations for this year’s Challenge Roth that it is hoping to give to athletes in exchange for a donation back to the foundation.
The 20th Challenge Roth event is set for July 3, 2022. Each year, the popular event in southern Germany sells-out rapidly. Entries for the 20th anniversary event in July reportedly sold out in under a minute.
With a full field size this year, after reduced numbers in 2021 due to COVID restrictions, athletes and spectators can look forward to the impressive finish line stadium and on-course atmosphere.
The charity places from the non-profit USA Triathlon Foundation are open to US and international athletes – and may appeal to those in Europe seeking a spot in Roth.
The organisation is asking for a US$10,000 donation to the USA Triathlon Foundation for the race entry, so it is a bit pricey. There, are though a range of benefits open to individuals interested in this ‘podium’ level of support for the foundation.
