Komoot and Eurobike are joining forces for the international trade show’s debut in Frankfurt, Germany, from July 13-17, 2022. The partnership will provide a stage for various activities for show visitors.
According to the Eurobike team… ‘Komoot, a well-known platform for outdoor activities, which has around 27 million users worldwide shall reach even more people on the occasion of Eurobike 2022.’
“As an official Eurobike partner for routing and navigation, we want to guide the guests through the new Frankfurt location and inspire them with social rides and after-fair tours to take trips to the region,” said Komoot Senior Marketing Manager DACH, Eva Kuprella.
Katja Richarz, Eurobike program curator, added “Komoot not only enables us to present our diverse touring activities, together we also invite bike and festival experiences.”
Navigating Eurobike with Komoot
By setting up special Eurobike lanes between central locations such as the main railway station in Frankfurt and the trade fair grounds as well as events at Mainkai, the two companies aim for visitors to effortlessly cycle between the locations.
Apart from dedicated Eurobike lanes taking visitors to and from the show, the Komoot tour collection, which was created specially for the leading trade fair, includes also suggestions for evening rides. These can be via gravel, road or a touring bike – for visitors to relax after spending a busy day in the exhibition halls.
The Eurobike team adds that cycling tours are best enjoyed in a group, which is why exhibitors, clubs and initiatives offer over 40 guided excursions / social rides, the routes of which are published in the collection. Komoot will also make a contribution to the Eurobike trade fair and conference program. With ‘Rider’s Lounges powered by komoot’ at Portalhaus next to the fair grounds and at Eurobike City at Mainkai, the platform is establishing meeting points for the departures and arrivals of the Social Rides as well as for relaxing and exchanging cycling experiences.
The partners also work together as part of the Travel Talk and Gravel Talk specialist conferences. Experts from Komoot will be on stage to discuss areas such as new target groups in tourism as well as the gravel cycling infrastructure.
