From Draft Team Vest to new MAAP Draft Team Jacket

In 2021, MAAP set out to create ‘the lightest, most stowable vest’ that would eliminate having to ride with bulky layers when riders are unsure what the weather has in store. This gave rise to the Draft Team Vest.

In 2022, the Australian cycling apparel brand is back after ‘an overwhelming request’ to add sleeves – enter the new Draft Team Jacket.

‘Crafted with mechanical stretch for comfort paired with durable water repellent and windproof fabrics. Laser cut perforations provide additional airflow in high-sweat areas while 360 degree reflective print graphics enhance visibility in low light. Fully stowable, the Draft Team Jacket packs away into its own internal pocket to always take protection with you, no matter the weather.’

“Traditionally, when it comes to weather protective clothing, it can be a fine line between ensuring a close fit versus being able to move,” said Rob Maniscalco, MAAP’s Head of Design.

“The Draft Team Jacket, our lightest yet, combines the best of all worlds allowing extra breathability so you don’t overheat, a close to body fit for freedom of movement, and the option to stow and go so that you can transcend the seasons.”
