HIGH5 Sports Nutrition is adding two new products to its range. Isotonic Hydration is a hydration drink and Energy Gel Electrolyte is billed as ‘a fruity burst of energy to power muscles during exercise with added electrolytes.’
Isotonic Hydration
HIGH5 notes that Isotonic Hydration is a scientifically formulated as well as a refreshing multi-carbohydrate and electrolyte formulation to keep athletes energised and hydrated during exercise.
It comes in two flavours, Tropical and Blackcurrant, and replenishes the five electrolytes lost through sweat – containing 240mg sodium, 90mg potassium, 25mg magnesium, 70mg chloride and 36mg calcium.
Isotonic Hydration also contains postbiotics (heat-treated microflora) and calcium to support digestion. Postbiotics are similar to probiotics but have been grown to maturity and heat treated so that they can take effect sooner.
Energy Gel Electrolytes
Energy Gel Electrolyte has been made to replenish depleted carbohydrate stores and the key minerals lost through sweat during a workout.
Available in Raspberry and Tropical flavour variants, it’s positioned as an easily digestible, multi-carbohydrate energy gel. Easy sachet contains 85mg sodium, 40mg potassium, 57mg magnesium, and 120mg chloride to replenish the key minerals lost through sweat.
