One of Challenge Family’s most popular events, Challenge Almere-Amsterdam, took place on Saturday, September 10th. The event in the Netherlands also hosted the European Triathlon Long Distance Championships across a 3.8km swim, 180km bike and a 42.2km run course.
Kieran Lindars (UK) and Katharina Wolff (Germany) took the wins at Challenge Almere-Amsterdam, and were also crowned the 2022 Europe Triathlon Long Distance Champions. Lindars claimed victory in a fast 7:55:44 and Wolff in a strong 9:10:10.
Next year, Challenge Almere-Amsterdam will once again host the European Triathlon Long Distance Championships, to be held on September 9, 2023. Registration opens this week with a ‘super-special 24-hour early bird discount.’
