Preparation for Vuelta a España is kicking off on ROUVY, with La Vuelta Virtual 22 getting under way on June 22.
ROUVY, the official, multi-year provider of La Vuelta Virtual, is presenting an immersive, multi-stage version of the 2022 Spanish Grand Tour. The series of virtual cycling events over the next three months has prizes from ZYCLE, Europcar and La Vuelta.
The 77th edition of the real-world La Vuelta 22 will start on August 19 and finishes on September 11. The pro race starts in Utrecht (the Netherlands) before taking on the roads of Spain and a finale in Madrid, World Capital of Sports 2022.
Together with La Vuelta organiser Unipublic, ROUVY is introducing an extended virtual concept of La Vuelta for 2022. A continuous series of community events will end up with an in-person grand finale for the winners of virtual races in Madrid. These events of different formats will run between June and September.

- June 24 – La Vuelta 2021 – Stage 6: Cullera – Race Day #1, 20.4 km
- June 25 – La Vuelta 2021 – Stage 2: Villafruela – Race Day #2, 30.2 km
- June 26 – La Vuelta 2021 – Stage 4: Anquela del Ducado – Race Day #3, 35 km
Information on July, August and September events will be announced in the coming weeks. After three months of qualification races, the grand finale on the ZYCLE smart ZBike will take place as an in-person event in Madrid – with details will be announced in due course.
