Lizzie Deignan, former road and track world champion and current Paris-Roubaix Femmes champion, has been confirmed for The Cycle Show & London eBike Festival, the UK’s largest and longest-running cycling exhibition.
The Cycle Show & London eBike Festival is getting set to return on 22-24 April at Alexandra Palace in London, UK.
Deignan won the inaugural Paris-Roubaix Femmes race last summer, taking an emphatic solo victory at the Vélodrome André-Pétrieux after a gruelling 116km of racing across the cobbles of Northern France.
According to the show organisers… ‘Tickets for the event are selling fast with exciting line-ups across all three days. Lizzie joins an impressive roster of names from all walks of cycling past and present, hosted on stage at London’s Alexandra Palace in front of a live audience.’
Brands on board for the 2022 show include Specialized, SRAM, Continental, Cannondale, Canyon, BMC, Vitus, Ridgeback, 3T, Tern, Haibike, Schwalbe, Riese & Muller, Bosch, Swift Carbon, Ribble, plus distributors showcasing line-ups of cycling brands.
The multi-hall layout at Alexandra Palace means the eBike audience has a dedicated show within a show. The London eBike Festival also features its own Experts Stage with Shimano Steps covering a range of topics from commuting advice to bike maintenance and more.
Rutland Cycling is hosting a free eBike drop-in clinic, Vitus is sponsoring the children’s track with a new Balance Bike Fastest Laps competition, and Bike Drop is partnering with the show for the first time to offer secure parking for visitors arriving by bike.
Outside, Alexandra Palace’s hilly parkland offers a testing area for all types of bike brands with a Demo Village located at the venue’s East entrance and a Mountain Bike/Gravel loop running inside a 1.5km Road/Commuter circuit.
