The Mallorca 312 organizing team has announced that AURUM, the bicycle brand created by Alberto Contador and Ivan Basso, has become a ‘gold sponsor’ of the cycling event.
The next edition of the Mallorca 312 is scheduled to take place on April 30, 2022, when 8,000 participants will participate in the three race distances. The main race is 312km, with an intermediate race of 225km and a short race of 167km, all of them starting and finishing at Platja de Muro, Mallorca, Spain.
Taking advantage of the cycling atmosphere the island of Mallorca will be experiencing during the Mallorca 312, AURUM is scheduled to carry out a number of activities. These are aimed at giving riders and their companions the opportunity to learn first-hand about the bike brand.
On Thursday, April 28 and Friday, April 29 riders have the opportunity to test the AURUM Magma bike and get involved with an exclusive service created for the event: the Click, Collect & Ride.
Here, customers who purchase a bicycle on AURUM’s website can collect and ride their new bike at Mallorca 312. The bicycles will be fine-tuned by an AURUM mechanic. Alberto Contador and Ivan Basso will be in charge of delivering the Magma to their new owners during a presentation ceremony. (Service subject to availability.)
