British performance eyewear brand, SunGod, has announced a partnership with Hayden Wilde, the World Triathlon Championship Series number one triathlete. The New Zealander has had a strong year of performances to date, including a silver medal at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
Wilde has been one of the top performers in the 2022 season so far, with seven wins and 17 podiums – including victory at the World Triathlon Championship Series events in Leeds and Hamburg – alongside a win at the Oceania Triathlon Cup in New Zealand.
“In a sport that can be won and lost on the finest of margins, performance is everything and this includes the gear,” Wilde said. “SunGod eyewear is the best out there for running and on the bike, so I’m delighted to join their team alongside some incredible athletes.”
Wilde has spent much of the season performing in the SunGod Ultras while on the bike and run and celebrating off the track in the SunGod Sierras. He joins a growing roster of ambassador athletes on Team SunGod, including ultra-runners Tom Evans and Courtney Dauwalter.
