The XTERRA European Championship and Short Track weekend took place in Prachatice, Czech Republic, on August 13-14.
The 2022 XTERRA Short Track Series made its debuts on July 2 in Xonrupt, France. This was then followed by this weekend’s races in Prachatice, Czech Republic on August 14. The other two events in the four race series are: Zittau, Germany (August 19), and Trentino, Italy (October 2).
On Sunday, August 14, Sandra Mairhofer (ITA) and Lukas Kocar (CZE) won the second round of the XTERRA Short Track off-road triathlon series with winning times of 40:43 and 34:31, respectively.
Arthur Serrieres from France and Sandra Mairhofer from Italy captured the XTERRA European Championship in conjunction with the 18th annual XTERRA Czech off-road triathlon with winning times of 2:30:16 and 2:57:39, respectively, on Saturday, August 13, 2022, in Prachatice.
