Belgium is first European virtual cycling world from MyWhoosh

MyWhoosh has welcomed Belgium to its universe of virtual cycling worlds. Belgium joins Arabia, Australia, Colombia, and Alula as the fifth MyWhoosh world, marking the platform’s first expansion into Europe and bringing its total route distance to 1159.5 km.

A release from MyWhoosh added that… ‘Known to many as a cycling haven, Belgium plays host to some of the most exciting, challenging, and picturesque routes across the globe. Now, MyWhoosh users can experience the rich cycling heritage of the region from the comfort of their own homes, with immersive graphics enabling a hyper-realistic indoor ride.’

With virtual cobbled streets and climbs, the Belgium map offers a variety of terrain to help users improve their technique, performance, and overall fitness. The world consists of seven routes, including those which cover the iconic Flanders region for those one-of-a-kind inclines – with some gradients exceeding 16%.

In total, the Belgium map offers over 112.3km of road to explore. Users can choose to ride across Ghent, Oudenaarde, Brussels, and more, competing in everything from historic city sprints to long endurance climbs.
