MYLAPS ProChip technology has been a core element of a partnership between Datasport Germany and the German Cycling Federation, the Bund Deutscher Radfahrer (BDR).
The partnership between Datasport Germany and the BDR was formed in April 2023. By joining forces, they collaborated on a rider results service (the Müller – Die lila Logistik Rad-Bundesliga). With the help of MYLAPS ProChip technology, the organizations have focused on a goal of making the timekeeping of bike racing a seamless process.
BDR Vice President Günter Schabel, who is responsible for the Cycling Bundesliga, said “We are excited to work with Datasport Germany and happy to have access to all the results directly after the races.”

The MYLAPS ProChip timing system is deployed for high-speed sports with an accuracy up to 0.003 seconds. It can handle speeds of up to 75 km/h (46.6 mph) which can be invaluable at professional cycling races. At the heart of the system, the ProChip Smart Decoder, is claimed to be the smallest and lightest timing decoder in the industry.
