UK full and half distance triathlon specialist OSB Events has extended the swim cut off for its main full distance Outlaw 2024 event.
Scheduled for July 28, 2024, the Outlaw Nottingham full distance triathlon swim cut off time has been extended from 2 hours, to 2 hours 20 minutes. A release from the event team gave some further background…
‘Why? The cut off at our Half events is 1hour 10mins, but it was 2hours at the Full (with a further 15 minutes to clear transition). That doesn’t quite add up.
‘Although the cut of time was set for a specific logistical reason, we have listened to feedback and are pleased to be able to make the change. We hope this makes the event more inclusive.
‘The Full distance event (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 mile run) is set for 28 July and entries are open NOW – still at early bird price at the moment. If the Full distance is a step too far, the Outlaw Nottingham weekend also features an Aquabike (swim-bike) and Aquathlon (swim-run).’
