Pinarello has unveiled its new winter apparel collection. The collection – made in Italy – offers a wide variety of garments helping male and female riders throughout the winter months, with a focus on reduced weight, high breathability and versatility.
The DOGMA winter jacket and jersey both incorporate Pinarello’s own water-repellent M-Brain and TC fabrics whilst also benefitting from a special water-repellent DWR treatment, while the DOGMA thermal jersey features a compact, technical and breathable fleece lining.
The DOGMA thermal bib shorts also utilise TC fabric technologies and DWR treatment, and feature Pinarello’s premium D-Throne 4-layer pad which is crafted from microfibre fabric endowed with antibacterial and hydrophilic qualities.
To complement the offering, a selection of unisex winter accessories are also included, such as: long and short-sleeve base layers, thermal arm and leg warmers, a neck warmer, beanie, winter gloves, and toe covers.
Pinarello adds that each accessory is designed to enhance the winter cycling experience, ensuring comfort and protection in colder conditions.
Technologies in the range include:
- M-Brain – a three-layer fabric coated with a hydro-repellent DWR finish. This provides protection from rain and wind while also helping with thermoregulation, with a soft inner lining for comfort.
- TC fabric – a breathable thermal fabric in a warp-knit, with highly elastic properties, designed to fit the contours of the body.
- Fleece Lined Fabric is a technical, compact and breathable fabric benefitting from a dense weave which optimises the body’s own thermoregulation.
- ‘Anti-Wave System’ provides a close-cut ‘second skin’ effect to minimise jersey movement, even on fast descents.
- Fitted Neck: the range features high collars in order to protect from the cold, with a shirring stitched section to hold the collar’s shape without restricting breathing, or the natural movement of the neck.
- Magnetic Closure: allows for instant magnetic closure of items, saving time during fastening.
