njuko bolsters list of 27+ supported languages on its event registration platform

Endurance sports event registration firm njuko has introduced Welsh language to its platform, in order to support a growing need in Wales. By doing so this bolsters a growing list of language options available to add to an event, including Spanish, French, Dutch, Hebrew, Arabic (right to left design), Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Swedish and more.

njuko handles over 4 million registrations a year globally, across 34 currencies, 23 payment gateways and over 27+ languages. Following its acquisition by ASICS in 2022, the registration firm has recently integrated with ASICS Apps to further continue its growth and platform development.

The language options on njuko allow any event organiser to add what they want to their race on the platform and by doing so all core buttons and text are automatically available for an event entrant to see by switching to that language on the entry page. The event organiser chooses only the languages it wants to show for a particular event.

On top of this, njuko’s inbuilt messages and content feature allows any customised content anywhere across the entry platform to be visible in that language depending on the entrant’s settings.

njuko cites the PTO (Professional Triathletes Organisation) as an example, having recently opened the PTO European Open Ibiza 2024 event with English and Spanish options.

Matt Trevett, Head of UK at njuko, said “Welsh is a great addition for us and will support several high-profile events that are migrating to our platform.

“It is important to localise as much as we can and we are fortunate being European based as a business to understand the importance of developing with an inclusive mindset when it comes to different territories, payment methods and languages.”
