UYN, Unleash Your Nature, has been announced as a headline sponsor of the XTERRA Snowdonia Trail Marathon 2023.
The XTERRA Snowdonia Trail Marathon, supported by UYN, is taking place on Sunday July 9, in Eryri National Park (Llanberis, Snowdonia, North West Wales).
Part of the XTERRA Trail Run World Series, and considered one of the hardest trail marathon events in the UK, the event organised by Always Aim High Events, offers four distances of 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon (44km) and Ultra Marathon (57km).
With a brutal cut-off time of 12 hours, the ultra-distance features more than 7,000ft of climbing and visits Cwm Tresgl and Cwm Pennant before joining the marathon route to ascend Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa).
UYN, as title sponsor, will be on-site presenting its latest trail sock offering, the Runner’s Five sock. Launched at Liverpool’s Outdoor Trade Show earlier this month, the Runner’s Five is the first UYN running sock with ‘HIGH-5 technology’, featuring five sock toes for comfort and performance.
UYN adds that the Runner’s Five sock is designed to fit the foot like a glove, staying in place without seams, and without slipping or moving, which might cause blisters (especially on long and technical terrain).
UYN will be showcasing and selling the Runner’s Five sock, and a range of its other items at the event expo during the race, as well as running a contest for runners to join the UYN running team, and with it test and win UYN products.
