The 18th edition of the Generali Genève Marathon race weekend in Switzerland, featured races for all distances from 1km to 42.195km, and took place on May 4-5, 2024. The streets of Geneva saw a total of 21,733 participants overall, with the half marathon, 10km and full marathon coming in as most popular amongst runners.
For the oversubscribed 18th edition, the event organizers had 4,000 people on a waitlist in order… ‘to maintain impeccable organization and grow steadily.’

New records were set, particularly in the women’s half marathon, where Judy Kemboi achieved the fifth best women’s performance in the world this year with a time of 1 hour, 5 minutes, and 44 seconds.
Helping to raise funds for a number of charities, over CHF 8,535 (US$9,400) collected for key charity partner The Human Safety Net Switzerland, which helps those in poverty.
