Ahotu, billed as ‘the world’s largest endurance sports calendar’, has partnered with the TRITON World Series to expand the reach of the international triathlon event series.
In a release, the two organisations noted… ‘This is an exciting step forward for the sport of triathlon, and will further extend TRITON’s global footprint.
‘The partnership will combine Ahotu’s extensive industry knowledge and powerful international reach with TRITON’s ability to breathe new life into the world of triathlon.’
Ahotu will help to expand the TRITON World Series to new markets in 2025 and 2026, extending from Portugal and Brazil to include the USA, UAE, Spain, Uruguay, China, Mexico, Singapore, and Germany.
For its part, TRITON will be an active ambassador in promoting the Ahotu brand and its services across the globe.
Charlotte Melchert, CEO of and Founder of Ahotu parent company World’s Sports Group, said “We are excited to partner with TRITON to bring their original triathlon series to new parts of the globe.
“Their creative approach to endurance sports aligns perfectly with our mission of connecting international athletes with exciting races abroad.”
The TRITON World Series is based around two race formats: a one-day traditional triathlon format (TRITON 1), and a three-day triathlon format (TRITON 3).
In TRITON’s three-day format (swim on day one, bike on day two and run on day three) all three disciplines have the same weight on the final result. Athletes score points for how they place. The athlete with best score, at the end of the three days, wins the competition.
Through Ahotu, World’s Sports Group offers a comprehensive racing calendar for endurance sports, covering running, triathlons, cycling races, and more. The Ahotu platform provides athletes with detailed event information and advanced search functionality, helping users to find and book events in 195 countries.
