In spring 24, Columbia is launching the KONOS collection, a new fast-hiking footwear line that features an Omni-Max platform combining traction, stability, and cushioning for underfoot comfort & energy return.

The new Omni-Max shoe tech has an adaptive lightweight cushioning solution in the midsole with responsive foam that delivers enhanced impact absorption, energy return, and comfort.
The midfoot support is designed with strategically placed deflection domes and flex grooves in the forefoot that reduce load impact and enhance flexibility on variable surfaces while encouraging more natural foot motion.
An Advanced traction outsole is made with specially formulated compounds (Adapt Trax on the Konos TRS version and Omni-Grip on the Konos XCEL WP and Konos Low) and tread patterns to provide cross-terrain grip in wet or dry conditions.
The key styles built on the Omni-Max platform in spring 24 balance cushioning, flexibility and responsiveness… ‘allowing more freedom to hike, run and explore light to technical trails.’
The pinnacle style of this collection is the KONOS TRS Outdry shoe, available for both men and women (£110). The KONOS TRS also exists in a non-waterproof version (£90) for dry summer days.
There is also the KONOS XCEL Waterproof Low Hiking Shoe (£90). This style also exists in a non-waterproof version: KONOS LOW (£90). The YOUTH KONOS LOW is priced at £65.
