With a new integration update, it’s now easier for eventrac customers to get their events live and bookable on findarace.com. The integration allows event data to be sent directly to findarace and the participant data from bookings on findarace to be passed back into an eventrac account.
The findarace.com x eventrac integration was originally launched in 2021, with the aim of delivering two time-saving advantages:
- Firstly, it saves race organisers time on maintaining accurate event information. Event information on eventrac is automatically fed to a listing on findarace, updated daily.
- Secondly, organisers keep all their booking data in one place. Participant data from bookings taken on findarace is merged into the rest of an organiser’s bookings within eventrac.
There is no additional cost to using the integration. Although, bookings are subject to the usual findarace and eventrac fees. Participant payments are collected by findarace and shared via a weekly payout to the race organiser, less the findarace and eventrac fees.
With an update to the API, the latest findarace.com x eventrac integration includes:
- Products: Organisers can now choose to include merchandise and other products in the checkout. Event t-shirts (including sizes and price), buffs, silicone cups etc., can be displayed and purchased, helping to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Age restrictions: Age requirements defined in Eventrac will be pulled through the API and validated in line on findarace.com.
- Waves: The API now includes support for event waves, displayed on a dropdown menu.
- BTF Race Pass: Following the release of the British Triathlon’s Race Pass earlier this year, triathletes can now purchase their day licence and public liability insurance cover in the findarace checkout, with the data fed directly back to the organiser’s eventrac dashboard.
