SCOTT Sports’ fastest road running shoe, the new Speed Carbon RC 2, has an updated midsole for a softer and springier feel and sustained speed.
SCOTT adds the shoe is not just for racing and can be used for quicker training sessions or when speedwork is on the plan… ‘You’ll find yourself moving forwards even quicker and more comfortably than before with an updated midsole material which leverages the efficiency of the carbon-plate.’
SCOTT Speed Carbon RC 2 features:
- The updated Kinetic Light Foam midsole provides cushioning. Lighter and with greater rebound than previous iterations of the shoe, the midsole offers a blend of comfort and speed.
- Carbitex GearFlex plates are dynamically flexible, responding by increasing stiffness as a runner increases speed and retaining flexibility when walking. By becoming stiffer as the plate is flexed it gives more power and efficiency when needed.
- Evolved Rocker 2 (ER2) applies SCOTT’s biomechanical principles to promote a more dynamic running position, reducing heel strike impacts and increasing running efficiency.
