Ahotu announced as Global Partner of The Running Conference 2025 presented by haku

TRC25 x Ahotu

Running Industry Alliance (RIA) has announced that Ahotu, billed as ‘the world’s largest calendar for endurance sports’, will return as a Global Partner of The Running Conference (TRC25) for the third consecutive year.

TRC25 takes place for RIA members on December 7-9, 2025 at Burleigh Court, Loughborough University, UK.

Ahotu provides organisers with tools to promote events globally, offering up discovery for athletes through search and booking experiences in their preferred language. With over 1 million monthly users and bookings across 194 countries, Ahotu and its sister platform, World’s Marathons, connect organisers with active international participants.

Covering 28 sports including running, cycling, and multisport – and expanding into new disciplines such as cross-country skiing – Ahotu and World’s Marathons help to make endurance sport accessible to athletes of all abilities.

Having first partnered with The Running Conference in 2023, Ahotu has been a supporter ever since. Its third year as Global Partner reinforces a shared mission to connect and strengthen the industry.

At TRC25, Ahotu will play an integral role through curated activations and visibility opportunities:

  • Content: Charlotte Melchert, CEO and Founder of World’s Sports Group, will deliver a feature session in the ‘The Marketplace’ track contributing to discussions on European and global endurance trends.
  • Pop-Up Discovery Space (PUDS): Ahotu will host a dedicated PUDS in a prime networking location at TRC25 to hold conversations with fellow RIA members.
  • Fika Coffee Break: Ahotu will host this Swedish-inspired networking activation, offering delegates the chance to connect and chat over Swedish treats.
  • Fast Track conversations and opportunities: The Ahotu team will be on hand to establish any partnerships and offerings to advance the industry.

Speaking about the continued partnership, Charlotte Melchert, CEO and Founder of World’s Sports Group, said “We speak to organisers across the world and the most common challenge, aside from performance, is how to attract and retain valuable international athletes.

“Our platforms have been built with this purpose at their core. By partnering with The Running Conference for a third year, we aim to share best practices and give UK and Ireland organisers the tools to attract global athletes to their amazing events. I’ve been incredibly impressed with the consistent growth of Running Industry Alliance and I look forward to connecting again with fellow members and partners at TRC25.”

Rebecca Richardson, CEO of Running Industry Alliance, added “We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Ahotu for the third consecutive year as Global Partner.

“Their expertise, reach, and commitment to data-driven insights bring real value to our members, particularly event organisers looking to grow internationally. This is a partnership built on impact and shared values, and we’re excited to see it evolve further at TRC25.”

The Running Conference presented by haku (TRC25) is the flagship annual members’ conference of Running Industry Alliance. TRC25 takes place on December 7-9, 2025 at Burleigh Court, Loughborough University and is a curated, B2B gathering for the running and multisport industry.

The conference features dedicated content tracks, keynote sessions, panels, workshops, and networking activations, plus the debut of the Running Industry Awards for 2025.

A key theme for 2025 will be new research, data, and insights shaping the year ahead and the future of running.
