Canyon expands MyCanyon bike customisation to Asia Pacific markets

Canyon has rolled out its MyCanyon customisation program across several Asia Pacific markets, allowing riders in China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand to personalise the Canyon Aeroad CFR model.

The launch also marks the official opening of Canyon’s new office in Shanghai – its first in mainland China. The site will serve as a regional base to support riders and build community in one of the world’s largest cycling markets.

The latest move follows the debut of MyCanyon in the US earlier this year and includes options to customise frame artwork, components and fit. Customers can select from three artwork collections and personalise elements such as saddle and stem length, groupset, wheels, tyres and name sticker.

MyCanyon orders are placed through canyon.com or the Canyon app in local languages, with augmented reality tools enabling riders to visualise builds in 3D. Once ordered, customers can follow the status of their bike via live updates in the app.

The Aeroad CFR is the first model available under the MyCanyon programme in APAC, with deliveries set to begin from late June.

Canyon CEO Nicolas de Ros Wallace said the initiative reflects the brand’s focus on rider engagement and local support.

“With MyCanyon, we’re putting creative control into the hands of our riders,” said de Ros Wallace. “And with our new office in Shanghai, we’re excited to deepen our relationships with riders across China, delivering world-class service alongside world-class bikes.”
