German bike manufacturer Canyon has teamed up with French alpine brand Millet to develop a new hydration vest aimed at gravel and endurance riders.
The SHARP hydration vest – short for Stay Hydrated At Race Pace – is positioned as a combination of Millet’s mountain heritage with Canyon’s cycling performance expertise.
Already tested by Canyon athletes at events such as The Traka, the SHARP vest is designed to offer hydration and storage without compromising speed or comfort in a race setting.
Weighing 450g and available in sizes S/M and L/XL, the vest includes a 2L Hydrapak reservoir and is priced at €170.
Key features of the SHARP hydration vest include:
- High and stable fit designed for race and low riding positions, without restricting jersey pocket access
- Magnetic closure for fast access to the hydration compartment
- Secure loop to hold the hydration bladder in place
- Sweat-proof zip compartment for tools, phone or CO2 cartridges
- Quick-access rear pocket for stashing layers or extras
- Drinking tube can be routed left or right, with front clips for hose positioning
- Height-adjustable clips and front stretch mesh pockets for snacks or gels
The launch marks the start of a new product collaboration between Canyon and Millet, with more co-developed releases expected.
