Megamarsch, a leading organiser of long-distance hiking events across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Spain, has extended its exclusive presenting partnership with outdoor brand Columbia through 2028.
Megamarsch is a subsidiary of Infront. The renewed Megamarsch and Columbia agreement builds on a three-year collaboration that has engaged over 149,000 participants. The partnership has also supported Megamarsch’s expansion into new markets in Austria and Switzerland.
Columbia, the flagship brand of the US-based Columbia Sportswear Company, will continue to be present at all Megamarsch events. It will also be integrated into event branding and equipment, which the organisers state ensures participants benefit from ‘high-performance gear and immersive outdoor experiences’.
The partnership has set ambitious goals for joint growth, targeting 64,000 participants in 2026, 70,000 in 2027, and 74,000 in 2028.

The 2026 Megamarsch season kicks off at the end of February 2026 and features a total of 27 events across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Spain. The hikes span 25km, 50km, and 100km distances, which must be completed within 6, 12, or 24 hours, respectively.
