Fizik has introduced the Powerstrap Aeroweave X, a new limited-edition gravel and cross-country racing shoe. The new offering debuts the second generation of Fizik’s lightweight, ventilated Aeroweave fabric.
Designed for off-road performance, the shoe pairs the updated upper with an all-new X1 full-carbon outsole for enhanced grip, stiffness, and traction.
Unveiled on June 11, 2025, in Pozzoleone, Italy, Fizik adds that the Powerstrap Aeroweave X offers a balance of breathability, durability and power transfer. The revised Aeroweave material interlaces nylon fibres with thermoplastic polymer filaments, helping with increased ventilation and reduced weight without compromising the shoe’s structural integrity.
The shoe features Fizik’s distinctive Powerstrap closure system, with two adjustable ribbons that wrap around the foot for a secure, customised fit across the instep and midfoot.
For off-road efficiency, the new X1 carbon outsole is reinforced with generous studs and a full rubber tread to improve grip in demanding conditions. Fizik notes that the outsole has a high stiffness-to-weight ratio, making it suited for competitive gravel and XC racing.
