Group Tracking and Turn-by-Turn navigation updates from COROS

COROS Wearables has announced its January 2025 feature update, which offers new ways to customize the COROS experience and makes Group Tracking and Turn-by-Turn navigation easier to use.

Group tracking
COROS has made improvements to its Group Tracking feature. This enables COROS watches to display the real-time location of teammates/training partners directly on the watch, and lets users set a meet-up location in the COROS app. Teammates will be displayed with their first and last initials, so COROS users can quickly identify where they are on their map.

Turn-by-turn alerts
COROS has added Turn-by-Turn alerts as a data field item for activity profile data pages, making sure COROS users can more easily see upcoming turns on the route of their activity.

Custom accessory names
With multiple accessories and sensors paired to a COROS device, smartwatch specialist COROS notes that it can be difficult to remember which device ID is associated with each sensor. With the newest feature update, COROS users can now add names to all accessories and sensors to more easility find the exact device they looking for.

Low battery warning
Under the new update, COROS devices will now prompt during and after an activity when paired accessory battery levels are low. This makes it easier to stay aware of when a charge may be needed or when batteries need replacing to ensure continued use for every workout.

Superlock in Outdoor Climb mode
The new update has also introduced a more robust locking functionality for outdoor climb mode, avoiding unintended unlocking and mis-operation during rock climbing activities.
