Inclusivity and female participation focus for ultra-cycling Race Across Series

Focusing on ultra-cycling, in 2024, the Race Across Series built momentum as a rendezvous for adventurers and cycling enthusiasts alike.

Based in France, the event organising team notes that inclusivity remains a central priority for the series. In 2025, this will be strengthened through a strategic partnership with Wilma, a cycling apparel brand dedicated to women.

The new partnership aims to encourage more women to embrace ultra-distance challenges through actions, including:

  • Tailored logistical support for female participants
  • Enhanced visibility and representation for women in the series
  • Initiatives to break down barriers, such as a flexible registration policy allowing women to defer their registration for up to three years if they become pregnant during the registration year

Alongside this, now boasting a race roster across six countries and two continents in 2025, the Race Across Series is pursuing growth via new initiatives. These include: a new event in Spain, and a tie-up with event organiser Beyond Endurance to launch the GRAAALPS ultra-distance gravel event.
