The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) has announced KIA as the Official Transport Supplier for the 2025 Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final, which takes place in Doha, Qatar, on December 10-13, 2025.
The event in December is the culmination of the 2025 T100 Triathlon World Tour, a season-long international series of 100km races (2km swim, 80km bike, 18km run). The Doha race weekend is set to showcase professional races, amateur competitions, and community events.
The T100 series final is being hosted in Qatar from 2025 to 2029, resulting from a collaboration between the PTO, Visit Qatar, World Triathlon, and the Qatar Triathlon Federation. The partnership with KIA marks the automotive brand’s first activation in the region with PTO.
The PTO’s T100 Triathlon World Tour is designated by World Triathlon as the ‘official wWorld championship for long distance triathlon’. The series features elite triathletes racing over the 100km distance at international locations, such as Singapore, San Francisco, CA, London, and Dubai.
KIA, a global motoring brand, joins the T100 Triathlon World Tour as the Official Transport Supplier for the Doha event, working with its official distributor, Al-Attiya Motors and Trading Co (AMTC).

KIA vehicles will be used across the event to support the athletes and staff, and will be on display to engage fans in Qatar and beyond.
T100 race weekends are billed as ‘festivals of multisport’, offering opportunities for amateur athletes of all levels to get involved, from experienced individuals tackling the 100km distance to first-time swim, bike, and run participants.
Event highlights in Qatar include:
- Wednesday, December 10: Mass 5km/1km fun run for the local community and visiting athletes
- Thursday, December 11: Event and fan village opens with dining, entertainment, and expo across Lusail Plaza
- Friday, December 12: Season-long T100 Race To Qatar series concludes with T100 professional races, awarding the 2025 World Championship title
- Saturday, December 13: Amateur races including the T100 Age-Group World Championship, open-entry 100km distance, and sprint triathlon
A youth triathlon will also be announced in the coming weeks.
The PTO partnership with KIA follows the announcement of a five-year event deal with Visit Qatar at the start of 2025, which has seen the season-long series become known as the T100 Race to Qatar.
