The Dave McGillivray Finish Strong Foundation has announced its latest round of grants, awarding over US$27,500 to 11 organisations across New England.
Focused on youth fitness, education, and social-emotional learning, the foundation received a record number of applications for its spring 2025 grant cycle. Each selected charity will receive up to US$5,000 to support programmes that align with the foundation’s core values.

- Youth Enrichment Services
- Danny’s Place
- Dream Big!
- The3PointFoundation
- Day Dreaming Organization
- Understanding Our Differences
- Action Centered Tutoring Services
“Each of the amazing organisations selected have unique ways that they inspire and engage young people in our region,” said Laurita Kaigler-Crawlle, Executive Director of the Finish Strong Foundation.
Based in New England, the foundation was launched by long-time race director Dave McGillivray to support youth development through movement and learning. The next round of applications is expected to open in the autumn/fall.
