Indoor bike specialist Wattbike has launched the Wattbike Air-Pro commercial indoor training bike.
Building on the Wattbike Pro/Trainer for the commercial/gyms marketplace, the Air-Pro aims to elevate the experience for users, coaches and personal trainers – with updated magnetic resistance, enhanced internal electronics and a new touchscreen interface.
This latest release follows on from the launch of home fitness bikes, the Proton and Air, alongside improvements to the Wattbike Hub App in 2024.
Kicking off a new financial year for Wattbike, the company has reported over 35% year on year growth in sales – and interest in the brand rising in the UK in particular, with an increase in web traffic of 46% in October to December 2024.
Crafted for durability and performance, the Wattbike Air-Pro is for demanding training environments – such as gyms, fitness studios, or elite sports performance centres.
The new indoor bike features Wattbike’s fan-based air resistance system. Wattbike adds that the braking system delivers instantaneous resistance making it ideal for high-intensity interval training (HIIT), explosive power sessions, circuits, and other short, intense workouts.
The Air-Pro’s new Performance Touchscreen is a 7” full backlit, colour tablet that integrates with the Wattbike Hub app. The Performance Touchscreen will also connect to third-party apps via ANT+ and Bluetooth.
The Performance Touchscreen requires no external power source. It draws energy directly from the bike itself allowing the bike to be positioned anywhere, be that on the gym floor, in a circuit class or even on the side of a sports field.
Through the Performance Touchscreen, users can ride in-built workouts, perform fitness assessments and connect to the free Wattbike Hub app, offering hundreds of additional workouts and training plans.

Available in the UK for delivery in February 2025, orders are now open exclusively through Wattbike. A full global roll out will commence in spring 2025.
