No. 6 Racing Wheels has unveiled its 1st Anniversary Limited Edition, a collection of 66 handcrafted wheelset units to mark its first year of business.
The anniversary edition features a party popper–inspired motif, a silver hub, and a UD matte, paintless carbon finish. The company states that the wheels are built from a blend of Toray T700 and T800 carbon fibre and are available in 30/30mm, 45/50mm, G45mm, and 50/58mm depths.
The wheelsets use 3.8 mm carbon aero spokes, with 20 spokes on both the front and rear wheels. They are anchored by Zero Gravity v.2 45T ratchet hubs and CeramicSpeed bearings.
The company notes that the weights of the wheelsets are as follows:
- 30/30mm at 1,068g
- 45/50mm at 1,230g
- G45 at 1,278g
- 50/58mm at 1,250g
The wheels are tubeless-ready and built around a centre-lock disc standard, using 12 x 100 mm front and 12 x 142 mm rear thru-axles. The wheelsets are compatible with Shimano 11/12-speed, SRAM XDR, and Campagnolo N3W, with recommended tyre widths starting at 28 mm. A rider weight limit of 120 kg applies.
Each anniversary wheelset comes with pre-installed tubeless rim tape, lightweight rotor lockrings, and a pair of tubeless valves. The company also offers free worldwide shipping, a three-year warranty, and a lifetime crash replacement programme.
The No. 6 Racing Wheels 1st Anniversary Limited Edition is priced at US$2,180 per pair.
