Rapha and Patta have announced the second chapter of their collaboration, introducing a limited edition cycling collection that aims to blend performance apparel with community-focused storytelling.
Building on the 2021 debut of the Patta Cycling Team, the new release is designed to reflect a shared commitment to increasing the visibility of people of colour in cycling. The apparel line fuses Rapha’s technical know-how with Patta’s distinctive aesthetic, and features the phrase Lobi Libi – Surinamese for ‘love life’.
Anna McLeod, Senior Partnerships Manager at Rapha, said the collection encourages riders to find joy beyond metrics and data.
“This RAPHA + PATTA collection is about being energised by, and finding happiness in, simple things like exploring a city, waking up to see the sunrise, or spinning around on your bike with friends,” said McLeod. “It’s about getting out there just for the love of it.”
The capsule includes cycling jerseys, bib shorts, casualwear, and accessories. While rooted in Rapha’s Pro Team performance range, the line extends into off-bike staples such as hoodies and t-shirts, with the aim of blurring the lines between technical gear and streetwear.
Patta Creative Director Vincent van de Waal worked closely on the designs. The campaign is influenced by everyday movement and street photography, placing the pieces in real-world settings beyond competitive riding. Patta’s ongoing message – The P is Still Free – underscores the collection’s inclusive approach.
Key styles include:
- Men’s & Women’s Pro Team Aero Jerseys and Pro Team Bib Shorts III
- Men’s & Women’s Pro Team Training Jerseys and Pro Team Cargo Bib Shorts
- Cotton Hoodies & T-shirts
- Caps and Pro Team Socks
