PUMA has officially revealed the Deviate NITRO Elite HYROX, a performance shoe specifically engineered for HYROX competition, helping to cement its position in the rapidly growing fitness race series.
HYROX is projected to welcome more than 1.3 million participants across over 85 cities and 30 countries by the close of the 2025-26 season.
The Deviate NITRO Elite HYROX is set to launch on February 19, 2026, and will be available on PUMA.com, in PUMA Flagship stores, at HYROX events, on HYROX World, and in selected retailers globally.
The new shoe has been tested by PUMA’s elite HYROX athletes, including 3x HYROX World Champion Hunter McIntyre and 2025 World Champion Linda Meier.
Key Features of the Deviate NITRO Elite HYROX:
- Outsole: All-new, full-coverage, high-traction PUMAGRIP outsole with a specially engineered lug pattern for multi-surface control during the varied functional movements and running sections within HYROX.
- Cushioning: Adapted NITROFOAM Elite to provide high-level cushioning for maximum energy return throughout the race.
- Propulsion: A full-length, newly curated carbon fibre PWRPLATE sits within the foam, providing increased propulsion and support.
- Upper: A premium, feather-light ULTRAWEAVE upper provides breathability and secure lockdown.

HYROX is a global fitness race that combines 8 rounds of a 1km run followed by a functional workout station, which are standardised worldwide.
