RaceNation and Runna have created an integrated registration experience, allowing event participants to register for an event and secure a personalised training plan in a single step.
The companies state that this new integration will streamline event registration as a digital touchpoint that guides participants to both the start and finish line.
Coaching app Runna provides personalised training plans crafted by coaches, tailored to a runner’s distance, date, and goals, such as target finish times or weekly availability.
Entrants registering via RaceNation can now gain immediate access to these plans with a single tap. The plans are scaled based on the number of weeks remaining before an event.
Will Golder, CEO at RaceNation, said “Continuing our mission to create more value for both organisers and participants, this integration is the next step in evolving event registration into a seamless, all-in-one experience that supports every stage of preparation – and in doing so, delivers lasting benefits for the wider mass participation industry.”
He added “Together with Runna, we’re redefining what it means to enter an event – participants aren’t just securing their place at the start line, they’re securing their place at the finish line too.”
For event organisers, this integration provides an additional revenue opportunity. By embedding bespoke training plans directly into the registration experience, it automates a partnership that can elevates an event’s offering.
Ben Parker, Co-founder & Head Coach at Runna, said “As more and more runners take part in races, this partnership has come at an incredibly exciting time. Together, we can make training for a running event more seamless and accessible, empowering runners with all the tools they need to step up to their next running challenge.”
Runna, which was acquired by Strava in 2025, is available in over 180 countries and helps runners complete distances from their first 5km to an ultramarathon.
RaceNation, founded in 2014, is a technology platform that supports endurance events and non-profits across the UK and beyond, processing hundreds of thousands of entries annually.
