RunSignup reports 14% growth in registrations for Q2 2025

RunSignup, the US-based technology platform for endurance and peer-to-peer (P2P) events, has published its Q2 2025 performance report, revealing a 14% year-on-year increase in registrations. The company reported that it… ‘outpaced industry trends, which showed 2% year-to-date growth.’

The company stated that it has outpaced broader industry trends, reporting a 14% year-on-year increase in registrations, compared to 8% growth in 2024 and 2% year-to-date in 2025.

RunSignup also saw a 10% rise in the number of races using its platform, having supported more than 12,000 active events in Q2. Larger races (500+ participants) grew by 17% in Q2 year on year.

The company attributes its continued momentum to technology innovation, sustained investment in employees and customers, and customer migration from other platforms.

“Being employee-owned enables us to take a patient, customer-first approach,” said Bob Bickel, Founder and CEO of RunSignup. “We’re investing in the future by supporting our employees and pioneering technology like AI that empowers events of all sizes.”

The company claims that more than 50% of the US endurance registration market now uses RunSignup.

AI tools driving operational efficiency
RunSignup’s ‘Year of AI’ initiative gained momentum in Q2 with the launch of its AI Chatbot, which uses event-specific data to automate participant support.

The company also introduced RunSignup AI for Vibe Coding, a tool that allows organisers to create custom web experiences using natural language and AI-assisted development. Internally, RunSignup reports that AI-enhanced workflows have improved developer productivity by more than 20%.

Ticketing and fundraising updates
TicketSignup, the company’s ticketing division, posted flat year-on-year results in Q2 2025. The slowdown was attributed to delayed openings from a major customer and the absence of several one-off events from 2024. However, RunSignup expects growth in the autumn/fall period, with TicketSignup forecast to account for 9% of transaction volume in 2025, up from 7% in 2024.

GiveSignup, the company’s fundraising arm, posted a 12% year-on-year increase in donations during Q2, reflecting steady growth in non-profit event support.

Ongoing product development
The company delivered more than 500 product updates in Q2 across areas such as Website V2, Email V2, RaceDay Scoring, RaceJoy, Mobile Timing App Photos, Fundraising, and Timed Entry Ticketing.

RunSignup also concluded another edition of RunSignup University, an in-person event offering customers a look at new features and a chance to explore emerging AI tools. The event aim to reinforce the company’s commitment to long-term innovation and shared success with its event customers.
