Science in Sport expands UK partnerships with five British sporting bodies

UK-based performance nutrition brand Science in Sport (SiS) has announced new partnerships with five national governing bodies, becoming Official Nutrition Partner to British Cycling, British Triathlon, Aquatics GB, England Netball and Great British Wheelchair Rugby.

The long-term agreements will run through key events including the Commonwealth Games, World Championships, and the Paralympic and Olympic Games up to 2028 and beyond.

Science in Sport adds that it will support athletes across each sport with nutritional solutions tailored to their specific needs. In addition to elite performance support, the brand will deliver nutrition education to wider participation communities to help improve sports nutrition understanding and best practice.

The partnerships build on an already established domestic portfolio for SiS, which includes relationships with British Rowing, British Sailing, England Athletics, Saracens Rugby, Tottenham Hotspur FC, and individual endorsements with Sir Chris Hoy and Eilish McColgan.

Dan Lampard, Chief Operating Officer of Science in Sport, said “It is a fantastic moment to become the Official Sports Nutrition Partner of five British governing bodies.

“Science in Sport brings decades of scientific research knowledge and a world-class range of nutritional products which will support British teams and athletes as they perform and compete on the highest stages.

“In return, we will access valuable performance data and feedback from a field of world-class athletes and teams that will help us to continue our research and development. It is our mission to improve the education, health and performance of all athletes, and these partnerships give us an incredible platform to continue innovating and leading the field.”

The new agreements also align with Science in Sport’s commitment to further scientific research, using insights from elite athletes across disciplines to inform product development.

Stephen Park CBE, Performance Director for the Great Britain Cycling Team (GBCT), added “At GBCT, we work hard to provide our riders with the best quality support for all their training and nutrition needs, and SiS’s impressive range, performance knowledge and commitment to providing clean and certified products made them the clear choice to support our 140-strong squad on the road to LA.

“We are well-known for being world-leaders in innovation and constantly looking for additional performance gains, so we are incredibly excited to have found in SiS a like-minded collaborator who are keen to develop world-leading nutrition solutions that will support our athletes with fuelling and recovery on their way to gold.”
